Dave Osato was in town and had a chance to hang out and go through some old photos.
What: That was tailwhip at dusk, almost in the dark.
Where: In the bowl at the plaza in Winnipeg.
Why: Tailwhip nosepicks are one of my favs in my repertoire.
What: Is that me sitting on the ramp?
Where: That’s in Pemberton, coming back from camping. That’s me pondering riding one of the sketchies ramps I’ve ever seen. The whole thing was in pieces, and I got stun by a bee when I was trying to prop up one the transitions. There was a huge bees nest under there.
What: Scenic shot, while camping at Berkenhead, I’m not sure if that’s the lake. It’s a secret lake, north of Whister.
What else: Bumpy ass bank tailwhip.
What: Oh man, I haven’t seen that photo.
What else: Leeside, wallride, years ago.
What’s going on there now: I was there awhile ago. There’s some small concrete stuff. Basically it’s the same sketchy place.

What: I was getting hit by John Heaton on the ice.
Why They were filming for the intro for the Volume video and I embellished the hit by John.

Toronto BMX Jam ‘09 will be Friday March 13 to Sunday March 15.At the bike show. Registration for pro is still open. Am is full section is now full. If you want to ride you have to ride Pro or there is a 14 and under class that still has space, if you have fake id.
